Presenting a check to Bobby Carpenter and the 2nd and 7 Foundation
We are proud to announce a fantastic start to the Steak Club Columbus as we hit the road and dined at Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse! It was another great night complete with an amazing Steak dinner and an opportunity for all those in attendance to learn more about the 2nd and 7 Foundation, an organization started by three former Ohio State Buckeye football players—Ryan Miller, Luke Fickell, and Mike Vrabel. Former OSU and NFL linebacker Bobby Carpenter took part in the evening and shared the mission of the 2nd and 7 Foundation with all in attendance.
Despite a few last minute cancellations amidst COVID-19 concerns, 27 guests took part in the dinner and we were able to raise $1,550.00 for the 2nd and 7 Foundation. The 2nd and 7 Foundation promotes early childhood literacy so that every child has a shot at the American Dream (despite where they grow up). The Steak Club is challenging all who can to donate via our website from now until Sunday evening at 11:59pm. All donations received during that window will go directly to the 2nd and 7 Foundation.
